Airbnb China: Spring Break | Taipei

JKD Collective produced campaign video series for Airbnb China, titled “Spring Break.” A total of four films were produced in documentary style, featuring popular destinations for Chinese Millennials, Okinawa, Taipei, Bangkok and Seoul.

The concept of the campaign is “Been There, Not Done Yet.” Each film focuses on the little known side of the most-known travel destination, exploring deeper into the local culture and introducing unique experiences. All films were directed by Henry Lu, a New York / Toronto based filmmaker who also creates top-end brand advertisement.

The Taipei version focuses on the latest music scene in the city. We collaborated with a local band, OVDS (tag) who is pulling hot attention in the base music scene.  With high quality sound design and thrilling camera work by Naoki Noda, we succeeded in capturing the depth of the present Taipei culture.
