JKD produced the opening titles for Japan’s first 4K documentary film, Umiyama Aida, on the theme of Ise shrine and the Japanese forest. Director Masaaki Miyazawa spent over 10 years shooting Ise and its forests, getting to the hearts of Japanese through interviews with essential figures such as Takeshi Kitano, Kengo Kuma, and Tsutomu Ohashi.

The film opens with a sophisticated title sequence directed by Genki Ito, mixing motion graphics with X-ray photography by director Miyazawa. The film had its world premiere in Washington DC at the Sakura festival on April 11, 2014. Japanese theatrical release is in September 2014.
