PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers) is one of the biggest consulting firms headquartered in London, with over 200,000 staff in 158 countries around the world. JKD produced a permanent installation at the entrance of its Tokyo office in collaboration with a global architecture / design firm company, Gensler.

This time, we produced an audio visual installation to amplify the preexisting artwork produced by a Japanese calligrapher, Ukyo Kamigori. Welcoming Nobumichi Asai as creative director, we worked with a calligrapher, Mami and an animator, Hideki Inaba to create a 15-minute long animation in which the original calligraphy work is brought to life by colorful brush strokes. The dynamic animation captivates visual impressions yet providing the feeling of sophisticated Japanese aesthetics.  The sound design that allure the visitors into the abstract serenity was produced by Daisuke Tanabe.
